Recycle: Scrap Metal
Scrap metal includes copper, steel, iron, gold, silver, aluminum (not including aluminum cans that can be placed in single stream recycling bins) and other metals of value. Individual UCAR labs or programs wanting to recycle scrap metal can either contact the Sustainability Program for support or must contact go through the UCAR Contracts Office Manager as the first step in the process for instructions regarding the applicable contracted vendor.

Sorry, we are unable to recycle personal items for staff. Boulder County and Broomfield residents can recycle scrap metal and many other items at Eco-Cycle. Check your county recycling center for more information.
